Breastfeeding Support for Alameda Moms
The Alameda chapter of La Leche League was founded in the 1960's to help mothers breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education. Our monthly meetings are facilitated by certified LLL Leaders who are also local moms.
LLL meetings provide warm places to connect with other new moms and grow as parents. LLL Leaders facilitate the conversation around a topic at the beginning of the meeting, then mothers are welcome to share their struggles and collect guidance from the leaders and other mothers. Babies are welcome at all meetings, of course, as well as expectant parents. There is no cost to attend meetings.
